Armizan Mohd Ali seeks increased funding for Program Jualan Rahmah Madani

Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali, the Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living, has requested that the Ministry of Finance increase allocations for the Program Jualan Rahmah Madani (PJRM) in the 2027 budget.

The initiative provides essential goods at prices 10 to 30 percent lower than local market rates to help citizens manage the cost of living. Armizan noted that the program has seen significant growth in participation, with transactions increasing from 9.2 million in 2023 to 27.5 million in 2025. For the current year, transactions reached 31.8 million as of September 23.
