Armonía 10 concert suspended in Lima after reports of gunfire

A concert by the musical group Armonía 10 was abruptly suspended in the Manchay civic plaza, located in the Pachacámac district of Lima, following reports of gunfire. The incident occurred during anniversary celebrations for Pachacámac while the group was performing in an open-air setting.

Witnesses and video footage indicate that more than three shots were fired shortly after the performance began. While the musicians initially did not notice the noise due to the high volume of the show, production staff alerted them to the danger, prompting an immediate evacuation of the stage.

Authorities from the Manchay Police Station and the Los Halcones Emergency Squad arrived at the scene to secure the area and escort the band members to safety. No injuries were reported. Attendees expressed concerns regarding the level of security present at the time of the shooting, noting that while police were visible earlier in the day, they were not immediately apparent when the shots were fired. The Manchay Police are currently investigating the origin of the gunfire.
