Armored truck carrying diabetes medication overturns in Yguazú

An armored Mercedes-Benz truck carrying diabetes medication overturned on Route PY02 in Yguazú, Alto Paraná, on the morning of August 31. The vehicle was traveling toward Ciudad del Este when the driver, 34-year-old Jorge Antonio Ferreira Garay, lost control of the vehicle.

The driver reported that he performed a sudden brake on a wet road surface, causing the vehicle to flip. One worker sustained injuries that required medical attention.

Two other company vehicles provided immediate assistance, and the cargo, which included tirzepatide-based medications, was successfully transferred to another unit to continue toward its destination without significant delays.
