Armstrong launches gerontological training for caregivers

The Gerontological Promoters 2026 training course has commenced in Armstrong, Argentina. The program reached full capacity with 80 enrollees and is a collaborative initiative involving the provincial government through the Subsecretariat of Older Adults, the Ministry of Equality and Human Development, Senator Pablo Verdecchia, and the Municipality of Armstrong.

The training consists of 150 hours of theoretical and practical instruction. While residents of Armstrong attend in person, participants from Las Parejas and Tortugas participate virtually, though they are required to complete practical components in person. The course is designed for individuals over 18 who work or intend to work in home or institutional care settings. Successful participants will receive endorsement from the Provincial Ministry of Education.
