Army Chief Dhiraj Seth reviews Sapta Shakti Command readiness in Jaipur

Indian Army Chief of the Army Staff General Dhiraj Seth visited Jaipur to review the operational readiness of the Sapta Shakti Command. During the visit, Lieutenant General Mohit Malhotra briefed the Chief on the current operational environment, force preparedness, and training initiatives. General Seth emphasized the importance of the ‘VIJAY’ strategic framework, which aims to transform the Indian Army into a technology-driven and future-ready force capable of responding to evolving security challenges.

In addition to operational reviews, General Seth honored four distinguished veterans with the Yoddha Seva Samman (YSS) for their continued service to society following their military careers. The recipients included Colonel Rakesh Mishra (Retired) for youth empowerment, Naib Subedar Atma Singh (Retired) for veteran mentorship, and Havildar Jetaram (Retired) for assisting families of deceased personnel with pension entitlements.

General Seth also met with Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma to discuss civil-military synergy and cooperation.
