Arnaldo Pomodoro photographic exhibition to open in Soliera

An exhibition titled ‘Arnaldo Pomodoro, un racconto fotografico’ is set to open at Castello Campori in Soliera on October 10, 2026. Curated by Andrea Tinterri and Ilaria Sgaravatto, the event commemorates the centenary of the artist's birth.

The exhibition utilizes the photographic archive of the Arnaldo Pomodoro Foundation, featuring one hundred original prints produced between the 1960s and 1990s. These photographs, captured by artists such as Ugo Mulas and Maria Mulas, document the creative process and the relationship between Pomodoro's sculptures and public spaces.

The display includes a dialogue between these historical photographs and three significant sculptural works: ‘Disco solare’ (1989-1990), studies for the ‘Progetto per il nuovo cimitero di Urbino’ (1973), and ‘The Pietrarubbia group’ (1975).
