Arnavutköy New Media Academy provides digital communications training

The New Media Academy, established by the Arnavutköy Municipality, provides application-oriented training designed to meet the needs of the digital communications sector. In collaboration with Ibn Haldun University, the academy combines academic knowledge with professional industry experience through the use of professional studios and technical infrastructure.

To date, the academy has produced 319 graduates, with 150 completing the first term and 169 completing the second. The curriculum covers a wide range of disciplines, including new media and digital content production, social media management, radio programming, hosting, dubbing, voiceover, photography, camera and filming techniques, video editing, and copywriting.

The academy also offers specialized summer programs, such as workshops on CapCut video editing and digital media literacy. Beyond individual trainees, the academy’s professional facilities are utilized by students from local vocational high schools to conduct their coursework. The educational model emphasizes direct contact with industry professionals, including journalists, broadcasters, and digital content creators, to provide practical insights into the media industry.
