Arnavutköy police launch drone-supported school safety inspections
The Arnavutköy District Police Department has launched enhanced security measures around schools to ensure student safety following the start of the new academic year. The operations involve a multi-faceted approach, utilizing traffic police, mobile school teams, public order units, and drone technology to monitor school vicinities from both the ground and the air.
As part of the inspections, police are conducting individual checks on student shuttle vehicles, verifying driver credentials and vehicle compliance. Officers are also engaging with students to provide guidance on traffic safety and the importance of wearing seat belts.
These security efforts are planned to continue throughout the entire academic year, with different schools and surrounding areas being targeted for daily inspections to maintain a consistent safety presence.
