Arnhem center stabbings leave multiple injured

Multiple stabbing incidents occurred in the center of Arnhem on Tuesday evening, resulting in several injuries. The violence reportedly began around 21:30 and spread across several locations, including the Korenmarkt, Wielakkerstraat, and Willemsplein. Witnesses described a man suffering severe wounds to his chest, shoulder, and back at the Korenmarkt, a busy hospitality area.

Emergency services, including a trauma helicopter, responded to the scene. Mayor Marcouch addressed the violence, identifying the involved parties as young asylum seekers who have already had their residency applications denied. He stated that this group travels throughout the country and is frequently involved in criminal activity, calling for their deportation.
