ARNO announces deadline for Green Ideas impact business competition

The association ARNO has issued a reminder that the deadline for the ‘Green Ideas’ national competition is September 16. The contest is open to existing impact businesses or teams with ideas that benefit the environment and local communities.

This year, the competition places a specific emphasis on measurable impact indicators. Through the ‘Investing in Change’ project, organizers are encouraging applicants to provide data that demonstrates the actual impact of their activities, aligning with global trends of investing in scalable businesses rather than just grant-dependent projects.

The ‘Balkan Green Ideas’ regional competition has supported green initiatives in Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Serbia for 15 years. The top three representatives from each country can compete for grants of $5,000 or $10,000, with a total regional award fund of $20,000 for 2026.
