Arnold-Gymnasium students participate in career and financial workshops
Students at Arnold-Gymnasium participated in educational programs designed to facilitate the transition from school to adulthood. Through a ‘Future Day’ organized with the Initiative für wirtschaftliche Jugendbildung, students attended workshops covering essential practical topics such as personal finance, real estate, taxation, and navigating the labor market. Key areas of focus included finding and financing apartments, understanding credit scores (SCHUFA), and managing first salaries.
Complementing these financial workshops, students also engaged in vocational orientation modules. Facilitated by the Agentur für Arbeit, these sessions helped students identify potential career or study paths using tools like Berufenet. The program included a university information day featuring various institutions from across Germany, offering lectures on diverse subjects ranging from robotics and medicine to law and design, alongside guidance on study financing.
