Arnold Schwarzenegger pays US$ 1 annually to keep film costume

Arnold Schwarzenegger maintains a unique agreement with Warner Bros. to keep a replica of his Mr. Freeze costume from the 1997 film ‘Batman & Robin’. To retain the piece as a collectible in his office, the actor pays the studio a rental fee of US$ 1 per year.

According to director Joel Schumacher, Schwarzenegger requested to keep a copy of the costume following production. While film props typically remain the property of studios for potential reuse or reference, Schwarzenegger successfully negotiated this unconventional contract with Warner Bros. executives.
