Lüdinghausen sheep causes unusual police bus wash operation
In Lüdinghausen, an escaped sheep caused a unique police operation after wandering into a bus depot and boarding a parked transit bus. The animal settled between the seats while employees were preparing for cleaning.
Because the bus was positioned for maintenance, it had to pass through an automated bus wash to exit the facility. To ensure the sheep did not escape during the process, police officers boarded the vehicle to accompany the animal through the wash. The sheep eventually exited the bus safely and was reunited with its owner on the depot grounds.
