Aroma Bursa exits concordat process after two years
Aroma Bursa Meyve Suları ve Gıda Sanayi A. Ş., a 58-year-old Turkish beverage brand, has successfully completed its two-year concordat process. Following a ruling by the Bursa 1st Civil Court of First Instance, all legal measures and concordat commissioner duties have been terminated after the plaintiffs waived their concordat requests.
With the conclusion of the legal moratorium, creditors now have the right to initiate enforcement proceedings or resume existing ones to collect outstanding debts from the company and its executives.
In light of the company's transition, Fatih Kayıkçı, the Nilüfer District President of the DEVA Party, suggested that the brand should be preserved through Bursasu, a subsidiary of the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality. Kayıkçı emphasized that Aroma is not merely a commercial entity but a significant economic and social asset for the city of Bursa, representing its agricultural and industrial heritage.
