Arouca Municipality delivers five new affordable homes in Santa Eulália

The Arouca Municipality is set to inaugurate five new housing units in Santa Maria do Monte, located in the parish of Santa Eulália, on August 19. This project provides five local families with access to affordable rental housing.

The initiative involved converting a former primary school into a T2-type residence and constructing four additional T2-type homes on the adjacent land. The project required an investment of over €705,954 (excluding VAT), funded through the ‘1.º Direito – Programa de Apoio ao Acesso à Habitação’ under the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).

Margarida Belém, President of the Arouca Municipality, stated that the intervention is a concrete example of the municipality's commitment to improving the quality of life and addressing housing challenges for local families.
