ARP signs agreements to boost Polish involvement in offshore wind

The Industrial Development Agency (ARP) has signed letters of intent with Orlen Neptun and PGE Baltica to foster cooperation in the offshore wind energy sector. The initiative aims to increase the participation of Polish companies in the construction of wind farms in the Baltic Sea.

The collaboration will focus on several areas, including joint conceptual and design activities, identifying competency gaps within Polish firms, analyzing regulations to facilitate sector operations, and providing financing. The goal is to ensure that as many contracts as possible are awarded to Polish manufacturing companies, allowing them to integrate into international supply chains.

Krzysztof Telega, Vice President of ARP, stated that working with developers is essential to provide the necessary perspective of investors and to build lasting industrial capabilities in strategic sectors.
