Arpa Lombardia investigates odor reports in Ceriano Laghetto and Solaro

Arpa Lombardia has responded to reports of unpleasant odors in the Villaggio Brollo area, affecting the municipalities of Ceriano Laghetto and Solaro. The regional environmental protection agency stated that field inspections are already scheduled to conduct necessary verifications.

To identify the source of the olfactory nuisances, Arpa plans to activate the ‘Tavolo Tecnico MOLF’ in accordance with regional regulations. While the agency is monitoring the environmental aspects, it clarified that health-related matters fall under the jurisdiction of ATS. Arpa noted that no emergency situation has been reported to them at this time, though they will act promptly if danger is identified in coordination with ATS.

Local authorities have advised citizens to report issues through their respective municipal citizen service offices (URP) to facilitate territorial coordination and the forwarding of reports to the appropriate competent agencies.
