Arpam investigates turbid water in Ragnola torrent

Authorities in San Benedetto have conducted inspections of the Ragnola torrent following reports of turbid water, stagnation, and sediment. Technical teams from Arpam, the Local Police, and other agencies investigated the area near the south seafront to determine the source of the phenomenon.

Initial findings suggest the issue is not caused by sewage discharge. Investigators noted an absence of unusual odors and observed that the upstream section of the torrent was dry, while the downstream area contained only stagnant water. Current hypotheses suggest the situation may be linked to municipal rainwater drainage systems, though limited water flow at the time of inspection prevented representative sampling.
