The second edition of Auà Fest – Paesi in cammino is scheduled for September 5 and 6 in Arquata del Tronto. Organized by the association Le Marche Zozze APS and supported by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Ascoli Piceno, the festival serves as an experiential trekking event designed to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the 2016 Central Italy earthquake.

The event aims to reconnect local hamlets and people through ancient paths. It is described as an “open-air podcast,” where participants engage with the territory through sound stages, photography, and the oral histories and memories of local residents.

On Saturday, September 5, the program features an inclusive walk on the Sentiero per Tutti in Forca di Presta, including storytelling and an aperitif at a mountain refuge. Sunday, September 6, focuses on a trek through various hamlets, following historical routes and local legends. The festival will conclude in Pretare with a community celebration featuring live music and local food.
