Arquivo Ephemera hosts WWII propaganda exhibition in Barreiro

The exhibition ‘A Outra Guerra – Propaganda em Português na Segunda Guerra Mundial’ (The Other War – Portuguese Language Propaganda in World War II) is attracting visitors from across Portugal to Barreiro. Hosted by the Arquivo Ephemera, the exhibition is located in Armazém 150 of the Arco Ribeirinho.

Groups from regions including Viana do Castelo, Porto, and Rio Maior are reportedly organizing bus trips to visit the site during October and November. The exhibition is open to the public on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10:00 to 18:00. Historian and archive founder José Pacheco Pereira conducts guided tours on Tuesdays at 16:00, though other guided visits can be arranged by appointment.

The Arquivo Ephemera notes that due to limited staffing and high activity levels, visitors should confirm schedules in advance to avoid arriving when the facility is closed.
