Arrabassada Beach to be featured on five million ONCE lottery coupons

The Arrabassada Beach in Tarragona will be featured on five million ONCE lottery coupons for the draw on Wednesday, September 9. This initiative is part of the ‘Platges amb bandera’ (Beaches with Flags) series, which aims to highlight coastal areas in Catalonia that frequently receive the Blue Flag distinction for water quality and service excellence.

During the presentation in Tarragona, Josep Vilaseca of ONCE emphasized the connection between these natural spaces and social solidarity. Cecilia Mangini, the Counselor for Functional Diversity and Disability, noted that the lottery serves as an essential support system for the inclusion and autonomy of people with disabilities.

The Arrabassada Beach holds the Blue Flag certification, and the Catalan Water Agency conducts weekly quality controls during the bathing season, consistently yielding excellent results.
