Arraun Lagunak leads after first day of Bandera de La Concha

Arraun Lagunak has taken a significant lead in the first day of the 19th Bandera de La Concha women's rowing competition. The crew, directed by Juan Mari Etxabe and steered by Nagore Osoro, finished the first heat with a time of 10:49 minutes, establishing a nine-second advantage over Tolosaldea.

This performance maintains Arraun Lagunak's undefeated streak this season across the Euskotren Liga and previous championships. The crew demonstrated strength from the start, pulling ahead of competitors including San Juan and Orio at the turn, and further increasing their lead during the return leg around the bay.

Following the first day of racing, the crews qualified for the honor heat are Arraun Lagunak, Tolosaldea (9 seconds behind), San Juan (10.54 seconds behind), and Astillero (10.74 seconds behind). Hibaika qualified for the consolation heat, finishing 12.32 seconds behind the leaders.
