Arrábida hosts 35th Rampa da Arrábida hill climb race

The 35th Rampa da Arrábida, organized by the Clube de Motorismo de Setúbal, is scheduled to take place from October 2 to 4 in Setúbal, Portugal. This event serves as the seventh and penultimate round of the 2026 JC Group Portuguese Mountain Championship.

The competition features 56 registered drivers competing on a 3.5-kilometer course with an average incline of 6.2% and an elevation gain of 185 meters. Key contenders for the absolute title include José Correia, driving an Osella PA30, Nuno Caetano in a PA2000 EVO2-PA30, and 18-year-old Tomás Pinto, who has already secured the Prototypes B title.

Event activities include technical inspections and a vehicle parade on Friday, followed by official training and race climbs on Saturday and Sunday. To accommodate spectators, a Fan Zone will be established at Largo Zeca Afonso, and free transportation will be provided from Casa da Baía. Local traffic will be subject to restrictions throughout the weekend.
