Arrest made in Amritsar arson case linked to domestic dispute

Police in Amritsar, Punjab, have arrested a woman following an arson attack that destroyed a residence in the Baba Deep Singh Colony near Fatehgarh Churian Road. The incident reportedly stemmed from a domestic dispute involving a man and his wife.

The victim's wife alleged that her husband, with whom she had a love marriage, was involved in an affair with another woman. Following the fire, which left the family without a home, the Sadar police initiated an investigation. While a woman has been taken into custody, authorities are still searching for the man involved in the incident.
