Arrigo Duranti appointed ecclesiastical assistant for CSI Cremona

Don Arrigo Duranti has been appointed as the new ecclesiastical assistant for the Centro Sportivo Italiano (CSI) in Cremona. The 36-year-old, who serves as vicar for the parishes of Casalmaggiore, Agoiolo, Cappella, Vicobellegnano, and Vicoboneghisio, received the appointment via an episcopal decree from Bishop Antonio Napolioni on September 19.

Duranti succeeds Don Francesco Fontana, who transitioned to the role of pro-rector of the Seminary, leaving his leadership positions in youth ministry and the Federation of Cremonese Oratories.

The CSI is a non-profit volunteer association that promotes sports as a tool for education and social cohesion through a Christian lens. The Cremona territorial committee, currently led by President Fabio Pedroni, includes over one hundred sports clubs and more than 7,000 members.
