Arroio do Sal in Rio Grande do Sul is celebrating the 24th edition of its Fisherman's Festival from July 29 to August 2. The event includes a regional forum titled “Women Who Transform: Strengthening Networks, Guaranteeing Rights,” featuring discussions on violence against women and community protection, with local officials and experts participating.

In Minas Gerais, Lagoa Santa marks its 29th anniversary of emancipation with a three‑day celebration from July 24‑26. Highlights include a free concert by sertaneja star Gustavo Mioto on July 25, alongside other musical performances and traditional activities such as the “Encontro de Comitivas” and a churrasco with costela.

Both festivals aim to promote local culture, tourism, and community engagement while offering free entertainment to residents and visitors.
