Arroio do Sal nears completion of new bus stop installations

The municipality of Arroio do Sal is entering the final phase of its second stage of installing new bus stops. Managed by the Municipal Secretariat of Works and Transport, the project aims to complete the installation of structures across various neighborhoods from north to south by the end of the week.

The new shelters are designed to be more modern, comfortable, and accessible for wheelchair users. The initiative consists of 40 units distributed across 26 seaside resorts, with most located at existing bus stops along Av. Interpraias. The project is being funded through amendments provided by local council members.

Upon completion, the stops will feature stickers identifying each neighborhood to assist passengers. The final phase includes installations in neighborhoods such as Quatro Lagos, Malinsky, Centro, Bom Jesus, Arroio Novo, Rota do Sol, Âncora, Piquenique, Balneário Atlântico, Torres Sul, Pinus Park, and São Jorge.
