Arsenal aims for global dominance in new Premier League season
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has expressed his ambition to transform the club into the best team in the world as they prepare for the new Premier League season. Following a 3-0 victory over Manchester City in the Community Shield, the London club aims to defend its title and establish long-term dominance in English football.
To strengthen the squad, Arsenal has made significant summer moves, including the €87 million signing of Brazilian midfielder Bruno Guimarães from Newcastle United. Additionally, Greek winger Christos Tzolis appears to be a replacement for Leandro Trossard, making an immediate impact with two assists in his debut.
Club captain Martin Ödegaard echoed these high ambitions, stating that the team intends to repeat their league success and pursue further trophies. The club is looking to build upon its recent success to avoid the patterns of the past and secure consecutive league titles for the first time since the 1930s.
