Arsenal and Manchester United eye Victor Osimhen

Arsenal and Manchester United are both pursuing Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen as the summer transfer window approaches its conclusion. Arsenal has reportedly sent a formal letter of interest to Galatasaray, expressing intent to acquire the 27-year-old forward. While Manchester United has also contacted the Turkish club to enquire about the player, neither club has submitted a formal transfer bid.

Galatasaray president Dursun Ozbek has indicated that the club does not intend to sell the former Napoli striker this summer. The player is currently under a contract running until 2029, and reports suggest there is no release clause, requiring any interested party to negotiate directly with the Turkish champions. Some reports suggest an offer exceeding £60m could potentially convince Galatasaray to sell.
