Arsenal announces Champions League squad and Youth League eligibility
Arsenal has announced its 22-man List A squad for the Champions League league phase. While midfielder Myles Lewis-Skelly was notably absent from the primary squad, he remains eligible for selection via UEFA’s List B rules. Under these regulations, players born on or after January 1, 2005, who have been with the club for two consecutive years since age 15, can be included in the secondary list.
Other young talents, including Marli Salmon and Max Dowman, are also expected to feature in the List B squad.
Separately, Arsenal is preparing for its UEFA Youth League campaign. The club is managing squad eligibility for the U19 competition, which requires players to be born on or after January 1, 2008, though up to five overage players born in 2007 may participate. The club noted that any player appearing three times for the first team in the Champions League will be ineligible for the remainder of the Youth League campaign.
