Arsenal intensifies pursuit of Aston Villa winger Morgan Rogers
Arsenal are actively trying to sign Aston Villa attacking midfielder Morgan Rogers. The club hopes that England internationals such as Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka and other Three Lions on World Cup duty can persuade Rogers to join the North London side.
Rogers, 23, is valued at roughly £80‑£85 million, with a sell‑on clause for his former club Middlesbrough also factored in. Arsenal are prepared to meet that price and are said to be ready to negotiate with Villa, while Chelsea have also shown interest. The Gunners view Rogers as a priority signing to strengthen the left flank for the upcoming Champions League campaign.
The transfer is being discussed alongside Arsenal’s broader summer plans, which may include off‑loading players such as Gabriel Jesus, Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli to fund new arrivals.
