Arsenal eye Aston Villa forward Morgan Rogers in summer transfer push

Arsenal are reported to be planning an approach for Aston Villa attacker Morgan Rogers, the 23‑year‑old English international who is currently with the England squad at the World Cup in North America. Villa are said to value Rogers at £80‑100 million, and the Premier League champions have made his signing a top priority for the upcoming summer window. Reports also note Arsenal’s interest in Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi and that Chelsea are monitoring Rogers as well.

Aston Villa teammate Ollie Watkins praised Rogers, saying, “Morgan can go to the very top… he’s an intelligent, hardworking guy with his head on his shoulders.” Rogers contributed 16 goal involvements for Villa last season and could add depth to Arsenal’s attacking options.
