Arsenal face Brighton in Premier League clash
Arsenal face Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium in a high-stakes Premier League fifth-round match. The reigning champions enter the contest with a perfect record, having won all seven of their competitive matches this season. A victory would allow them to equal a club record for the longest winning start to a season, dating back to 1903.
Brighton, currently sitting in fifth place, have also enjoyed a strong start, highlighted by a recent 5-0 victory over Coventry and a League Cup win against Manchester United. The Seagulls possess one of the league's most potent attacks, having scored 13 goals in their first four matches.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta faces selection challenges due to defensive injuries, with Ben White and Cristhian Mosquera among those with fitness concerns. Jurrien Timber is expected to make his first league start of the season. Brighton also manages several absences, including Kaoru Mitoma and Yankuba Minteh.
