Arsenal fans protest Naples travel protocols

Arsenal supporters have expressed intense frustration regarding the travel and security protocols implemented by Italian authorities during their recent Champions League trip to Naples. Despite Arsenal's 1-0 victory at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, fans reported significant logistical hardships.

According to supporter testimonies, the shuttle bus system resulted in long delays, with fans waiting approximately 75 minutes to board vehicles. These waits occurred in temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius. Once on the buses, supporters complained that the vehicles lacked air conditioning, leading some to compare the treatment to that of livestock.

Additional grievances included strict scheduling, with a meeting time of 16:00 and a departure at 18:30 for a 21:00 kickoff, and restrictions on wearing Arsenal jerseys. Some fans stated they would avoid traveling to Italy for future matches due to these experiences.
