Arsenal interest in Álex Baena met with Atlético Madrid refusal

Arsenal has expressed interest in Atlético Madrid winger Álex Baena, but the Spanish club reportedly has no intention of allowing him to leave during the January transfer window. Atlético Madrid views the player as a vital component of its sporting project and is prepared to reject offers to ensure he remains with the squad.

In addition to the pursuit of Baena, Arsenal is reportedly monitoring several other players. The club has shown interest in Bayern Munich defender Kim Min-jae, though Bayern remains hesitant to sell unless a significant offer is made. Scouts from Arsenal and Liverpool were also reportedly present to observe Galatasaray player Aleksey Batrakov during a Champions League match against Lille. Furthermore, the club continues to follow Club Brugge player Nicolò Tresoldi.
