Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta targets Aston Villa winger Morgan Rogers

Arsenal, fresh off their first Premier League title in 22 years, are looking to reinforce their squad for a title defence. Manager Mikel Arteta has urged the club’s hierarchy to sign Aston Villa forward Morgan Rogers, describing the 23‑year‑old as a "fantastic" talent who can operate as a creative number 10 or on the left wing.

Rogers netted 14 goals and supplied 12 assists in the 2025/26 season and is valued at just over £80 million. While Paris Saint‑Germain also monitor the player, Arteta sees him as a key addition to sustain Arsenal’s recent success and to provide more goal‑scoring options from wide areas.
