Arsenal midfielder Merino praises Arteta as club eyes Alexander-Arnold

Arsenal midfielder Mikel Merino has praised manager Mikel Arteta, describing him as “unarguably one of the best managers in the world.” Speaking to TNT Sports, Merino expressed that he feels honored to work with Arteta, noting that he attempts to absorb the manager's vision and coaching methods daily.

In transfer news, Arsenal is reportedly considering a move for Real Madrid full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold. The interest comes as the club looks to strengthen its defensive options, particularly at right-back, amid fitness concerns regarding Ben White and the recent return of Jurrien Timber from injury. Alexander-Arnold, who joined Real Madrid to replace Dani Carvajal, currently faces competition for his position from Denzel Dumfries.
