Arsenal pursue multiple signings as Trossard departs, targeting Guimaraes, Tzolis and Nusa

Leandro Trossard has left Arsenal for Turkish side Besiktas, prompting the London club to look for replacements. Arsenal have identified Brazilian midfielder Bruno Guimarães as a priority, but Newcastle United have rejected two offers—£50 million and £65 million—insisting on more than £93 million, leaving the deal uncertain.

Arsenal are also negotiating for Greek winger Christos Tzolis of Club Brugge, with a fee expected between £30 million and £35 million after the player expressed a desire to join. In parallel, the Gunners have prepared an offer of around €40 million for Norwegian winger Antonio Nusa from Bayer Leverkusen, though the German club seeks a higher price. Other potential targets include Morgan Rogers and Julian Alvarez, but those remain separate pursuits.

The combined transfer activity reflects Arsenal’s aim to strengthen the midfield and left flank ahead of the 2026‑27 Premier League and Champions League campaigns, while navigating valuation gaps with Newcastle and other clubs.
