Arsenal negotiate £10‑15 million deal for 16‑year‑old Leicester winger Jeremy Monga

Leicester City winger Jeremy Monga, aged 16, is set to join Arsenal this summer. The 16‑year‑old made his Premier League debut at 15, becoming the second‑youngest player to appear in the league, and has logged over 1,000 minutes for Leicester, scoring once and providing two assists across 30 appearances. Following Leicester’s relegation to League One, Arsenal have entered advanced talks to sign Monga for a fee reported between £10 million and £15 million. Mongan’s contract, which will commence when he turns 17 in July, may trigger a tribunal if Leicester and Arsenal cannot agree on compensation. The transfer is supported by Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, who views Monga as a high‑potential prospect for the club’s future squad, and by his former Leicester manager, who praised his speed and versatility. Monga also features for England U18, having scored in recent youth internationals.
