Arsenal secures Mikel Arteta until 2030 and prepares Odegaard renewal
Arsenal Football Club is securing the long-term future of its leadership and core squad. Manager Mikel Arteta has signed a new contract to remain head coach at the Emirates Stadium until June 2030.
In addition to Arteta's commitment, the club is preparing to offer captain Martin Odegaard an improved long-term contract. Arsenal has reportedly set aside significant funds to negotiate a renewal for the 27-year-old midfielder, who is considered a primary priority for the club alongside players such as Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber.
These moves follow a successful period for the club, including their first Premier League title in 22 years and a recent appearance in the Champions League final.
