Arsenal target Mexican prodigy Gilberto Mora and agree terms with French midfielder Manu Kone
Arsenal are reported to be pursuing Mexican teenager Gilberto Mora, who became the youngest player to start a World Cup knockout match, breaking Pele’s record. Mora, who plays for Club Tijuana, has a £20 million release clause and has attracted interest from Liverpool as well as the Gunners.
The club have also reached an agreement on personal terms with French midfielder Manu Kone of Roma. Arsenal would need to negotiate a transfer fee, reported to be around £43 million, to complete the move. Both signings are part of Arsenal’s broader effort to strengthen their midfield ahead of the 2026‑27 season.
