Arsenal's Martinelli faces scrutiny amid transfer rumors

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has defended the importance of Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus to the squad, despite both players being absent from the Community Shield victory against Manchester City. Arteta attributed their absence to squad rules and a limited number of substitutes allowed during the match rather than a loss of favor.

However, former Arsenal player Ian Wright has raised concerns regarding Martinelli’s treatment within the club. Wright claimed that the Brazilian winger is not being communicated with effectively and suggested that the club may be attempting to force him out. These comments follow reports of transfer interest in Martinelli, including a reported €45 million bid from Galatasaray.
