Arshad Khan’s Café Chaiwala expands with third UK outlet
Arshad Khan, the Pakistani entrepreneur known as the ‘blue-eyed Chaiwala,’ has expanded his café brand in Britain with the opening of a third outlet in New Malden, South London. The new branch is being launched by British-Pakistani businessman Asif Khaliq, the brand’s UK master franchise holder.
Following successful locations in Tooting and Sutton, Khaliq plans to open two additional outlets within the next month as part of a broader strategy to establish the Pakistani café brand across the United Kingdom. The expansion aims to meet growing demand for Pakistani tea and traditional street food among South Asian communities and the wider British public.
The menu features traditional items such as halwa puri, Lahori chanay, parathas, and various signature teas, including Karak Chai and Kashmiri Chai. This growth follows previous legal and trademark disputes regarding earlier franchise arrangements in the UK.
