ARST introduces four new electric buses in Carbonia

ARST has launched four new electric buses in Carbonia, marking the first phase of a larger fleet modernization project. These vehicles, part of an initial delivery of over thirty buses, are TAM Vero 8 and Vero 10 models.

The TAM Vero 8 model can accommodate up to 54 passengers, while the Vero 10 model has a capacity of 73 seats. The vehicles feature a 280-kilometer range and are designed for urban agility, including navigating narrow streets and inclines.

Beyond Carbonia, these electric buses will also serve Alghero, Oristano, Iglesias, and Macomer. The initiative aims to reduce emissions, lower noise pollution, and improve the overall quality of public transport services across the five municipalities managed by ARST.
