Art and sustainability initiatives emerge in Paraguay and Argentina

In Cambyretá, Paraguay, an innovative plastic arts exhibition titled ‘Momentos de con y para la vida’ has opened to the public. The exhibition serves as a pedagogical collage, utilizing images and expert concepts to address social realities and psychological themes such as ethics, sociology, and personal development. Designed to foster reflection and self-esteem among students and the community, the display will remain open until October 8.

In Argentina, students and faculty from the Instituto Superior de Bellas Artes Juan Yaparí have advanced to the national stage of the Science Fair with ‘EcoArcilla’. This sustainability project involves transforming eggshells into a malleable paste for sculptural use. Developed to address the scarcity and high cost of traditional clay, the initiative combines artistic research with waste reduction by repurposing everyday organic residues into a viable raw material for art.
