Art Basel Paris 2026 features diverse design and performance projects

Art Basel Paris 2026 will host several high-profile creative projects, including the collective exhibition ‘House of Dreams’ and a performance piece by Alice Diop for Miu Miu.

Organized by Movimento Gallery and International Design, ‘House of Dreams’ will take place from October 23 to 25 in a Haussmann-style apartment near the Grand Palais. The exhibition aims to create a dialogue between collectible design and contemporary art, inspired by 19th-century Parisian salons. Featured contributors include artists and designers such as Costantino Gucci, Federica Elmo, and Jacob Egeberg, among others.

Additionally, director Alice Diop will present ‘Geste de consolation’ at the Palais d’Iéna as part of a public program with Miu Miu. This multimedia performance explores themes of femininity and seeks to address how art history has traditionally viewed Black women. The project is open to the public from October 21 to 25 via online registration.
