Art competitions held in Camerano and Vitolini
Several art competitions recently concluded in Italy, celebrating local landscapes and heritage through plein air painting.
In Camerano, the first edition of the Estemporanea di Pittura, organized by the Agape Cultural Association, held its awards ceremony at the Church of San Francesco. The event featured professional and amateur artists capturing views of the historic center, including the Maratti Theater and the Conero Park. The top three winners were Luca Morici, Leonardo Sassi, and Andres Hunger.
In Vitolini, the second edition of the ‘VitolinArte’ competition took place, organized by Aps Vitolinincircolo and Circolo Arci. The theme, ‘Protecting heritage. Renew, Resist, Reinvent,’ was tied to the European Heritage Days. Twenty-three artists participated, focusing on urban corners and landscapes. Silvia Boanini took first place with a piece titled ‘Vorrei un asilo,’ followed by Anna Cecchini in second and Marco Zecchi in third. A popular jury also awarded Marco Maggini for his work ‘Presente e futuro.’
