Spain reports extreme heat and various regional art exhibitions

Various cultural and environmental events are occurring across Spain. In the Valencian Community, extreme nocturnal heat was recorded, with temperatures in Alicante reaching 37 degrees Celsius after midnight in municipalities such as Pego, Orba, and Sagra.

In the arts sector, several exhibitions have opened. Lleida is hosting ‘Del Cercle a Cavallers,’ a collaborative exhibition between Espai Cavallers and Cercle de Belles Arts. In Fuerteventura, the ‘Patrimonio Vivo’ exhibition features works by the Urban Sketchers movement. Santa Cruz is presenting a 40-year retrospective of sculptor Medín Martín at the Museo Municipal de Bellas Artes, while Chiclana is hosting Daniela Martínez’s ‘Kintsugi’ exhibition. Additionally, Úbeda is preparing for the XI Artistic Days featuring approximately 300 artists, and l’Alfàs del Pi is showcasing ‘Pinceladas de Vida’ by María Torres Bernal and Núria Vilalta.

Note: One report regarding tourism in Puntarenas and a historical piece on Aberdeen were excluded from this summary.
