Art exhibitions announced at Palazzo Abatellis and Fondazione Carit

The Galleria regionale di Palazzo Abatellis in Palermo will host the exhibition ‘Doppio sguardo’, featuring works by Michele Canzoneri and Rossella Leone. Curated by Sergio Catalano, the exhibition presents the artists' works in dialogue with the gallery’s iconic ‘Trionfo della Morte’. The event is scheduled to open on November 6, with free admission available until December 8, 2026.

Additionally, the Fondazione Carit has announced a new exhibition project titled ‘La Valle incantata. Corot e il grande viaggio in Italia’. Scheduled to run from February 11 to May 2, 2027, at Palazzo Montani Leoni, the exhibition focuses on the influence of the Terni Valley landscapes on 19th-century European painters. The project highlights the impact of French landscape painter Jean-Baptiste Camille Corot, who traveled through the Papigno and Narni areas in 1826.
