Art exhibitions announced in Romania for Nicolae Labiș and Bogdan Pelmuș

In Romania, several art exhibitions are being organized to honor significant figures and explore contemporary themes. Artist Mihai Pînzaru PIM is preparing a traveling graphic arts exhibition dedicated to the poet Nicolae Labiș to commemorate the 90th anniversary of his birth. The exhibition is planned to travel to various locations, including Basarabia.

Separately, artist Bogdan Pelmuș is presenting an exhibition titled ‘LOC 379263976…404’ at the Új Kriterion Gallery in Miercurea Ciuc. Curated by Horatiu Lipot, the exhibition runs from October 16 to November 10, 2026. The work explores the boundaries of painting through a mix of matter, gesture, and multimedia supports, engaging with theories regarding the evolution and limits of the medium.
